Chartered Management Accountant Matthew Ford has joined the growing team at Irish Squash as Finance Administrator on a part-time basis starting April 15th. Irish Squash has been on a major drive to professionalise the operations of the sport’s governing body in order to fully realise the ambitions within the ‘Connecting the Dots’ Strategic Plan and better support the squash community.
Matthew holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance, is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant, and has extensive experience working in finance with sporting organisations, including Volleyball Ireland and the Leinster Cricket Union. Matthew also has firsthand appreciation of elite-level sport, having represented Ireland ‘A’ in Cricket and played professionally for a number of years.
The team at Irish Squash has expanded in recent months and is committed to professionalising the organisation and growing the sport by supporting our network of clubs and volunteers.
