Irish Squash recently appointed two new personnel to increase the capacity of the
organisation in delivering on the goals outlined in their Strategic Plan 2022-2027
‘Connecting the Dots’
Scott Graham takes on the newly-created role of Chief Executive Officer and brings a wealth
of experience from his current role as Operations Manager in Cycling Ireland and previ0us
sponsorship, marketing and communications roles with Cycling Ireland, Teneo and Triathlon
Ireland.
Tiernan Harris is the new full time Office Administrator with responsibility for a range of
duties, including managing the software platform, SportyHQ and developing an improved
social media presence for the organisation.
Paul Nugent remains in his post as Chief Operations Officer, in which he has provided
administrative duties in liaison with voluntary board members for Irish Squash for many
years.
The new complement of 3 staff members will enhance the operational delivery of services
to the squash community in Ireland.
Scott, who takes up his new role on August 2nd, said “I am delighted to have been appointed
as the CEO of Irish Squash. The sport has enormous potential, and I am looking forward to
working with the Irish Squash community, staff, and key stakeholders to further develop the
sport and professionalise the organisation. My key priority will be to deliver upon the
ambitious 5-year strategic plan and help bring Irish Squash to new heights”
