Ed Dunne President, Irish Squash and the board wish to extend it’s deepest sympathy to the family of Helen Lennon and in particular her husband Colm, on her passing last Monday.

Helen was a highly committed member of Irish Squash and was the team manager with the National Ladies team on many occasions in the late 80’s/early 90’s. Under her stewardship the national side finished fifth once and fourth twice in the World Championships during the 1980s.

The death has occurred of Helen LENNON of Goatstown, Dublin

Lennon, Helen (Goatstown, Dublin) 15th April 2013 peacefully, after a short illness, at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital; beloved wife of Colm (Smith). Sadly missed by her loving husband, brothers Paddy, Peter and Arthur, sisters Kathleen and Rosaleen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a wide circle of friends.
Rest in PeaceReposing at her residence on Wednesday from 7pm to 9pm. Removal on Thursday morning to Church of The Holy Cross, Dundrum arriving for 10.30am Funeral Mass and afterwards to Shanganagh Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to Friends of the Elderly.
