Euro Individual Closed

Ireland had 3 players playing in the European Individual Championships in Spain from 21st-24th August.

Hannah Craig, Denis Gilevskiy and Jack O’Flynn. Denis had a good 1st round win but then came up against the Number 1 seed Victor Crouin from France. Unfortunatly Denis lost this match. However he went onto to win all his remaining matches to finish 17th.

Hannah Craig had a similar experience, losing her 1st match to Cristina Gomez of Spain. Hannah finished 18th overall.

Jack O’Flynn lost his 1st match in a match where 3 games went to 12-10. Jack then went onto his next 3 matches out of 4 to finish 35th.

Overall the 3  Irish players played very well against full time professional players.
