Affiliation Changes for 2024-25

As the new season commences, we have introduced some affiliation changes for the upcoming season. The changes affect both the club affiliation and membership fees, along with the procedures that will apply. These steps have been implemented to ensure comprehensive insurance coverage and to align with our tournament and selection policies.

Player Affiliation for 2024/25

We offer two approaches for player membership registration, designed to accommodate different circumstances and ensure that all players have access to the benefits of affiliation:

  1. Club Bulk Membership Renewal
This stays the same as the current system. Clubs can submit their list of players using the Affiliation Template for Club Member Info – 2024-25 Season to administrator@irishsquash.com who will then process all players on SportyHQ. An invoice will be sent to club AFTER this processing has taken place to ensure clubs are not caught doubling paying, if a member has already registered directly.
  2. Individual Membership Option
For individuals not yet registered by a club, residing abroad, or not affiliated with any club, there is an option to register directly with Irish Squash. This allows players to participate in leagues and tournaments independently while benefiting from insurance coverage and other membership perks. Registration is done online through the SportyHQ platform, ensuring that all members meet the eligibility criteria for tournament participation and provincial or national team selection. Register yourself directly – here

From the 1st of October, you will be unable to enter tournaments and leagues without a valid membership.

Club Affiliation Fees

  • Early Bird Rate: €120 / £110 (valid until October 1st)
  • Standard Rate: €150 / £140 (applies after October 1st)

Safeguarding Requirement

All clubs will be required to fill out a safeguarding form as part of the affiliation process. This is crucial to ensure that we maintain the highest standards of child protection and welfare across all our clubs. The form can be completed here – https://forms.gle/feeJWxvpL5sLVSB26
